Curriculum Vitae (0.10MB)

I am a New Zealand born Maori. I reside in Melbourne Australia, where I completed my PhD in Education (Monash) but am currently a 'trailing spouse' to my partner an Australian official in Papua New Guinea. I am an independent scholar who writes critically on the changing significance of race and racism in the contexts of indigenous representation in education, sport, social policy and media culture in Australia. I am published in refereed journals that reflect the range of my interest and writing. I am working on my fourth book which will, among other things, examine the role of aid as a medium for change through capacity building in the developing nation of Papua New Guinea. For publication details in relation to all of my works, please refer to my curriculum vitae attached.
